제18장

1 The followers said to Jesus, “Tell us how our end will be.”

2 Jesus said, “Have you discovered the beginning, then, so that you are seeking the end? You see, where the beginning is the end will be.

3 Blessed is the one who stands at the beginning: That one will know the end and will not taste death.”

1 따르는 자들이 예수께 말씀드리기를, “우리의 종말이 어떻게 될 지 말씀해 주십시오.”

2 예수께서 말씀하시기를, “그러면 너희가 시작을 발견하였는가? 그리하여 종말을 구하는가? 왜냐하면 시작이 있는 곳에 종말이 있기 때문이다.

3 시작에 자신의 자리를 두는 자는 복되도다. 그는 종말을 알 것이며 죽음을 맛보지 않을 것이다.”

2 예수께서 가라사대 “너희가 시작을 발견 하였느뇨? 그러하기 때문에 너희가 지금 종말을 구하고 있느뇨? 보아라! 시작이 있는 곳에 종말이 있을 지니라.

3 시작에 서있는 자여 복되도다. 그이야말로 종말을 알 것이니 그는 죽음을 맛보지 아니 하리라.”
