제50장

1 Jesus said, “If they say to you, ‘Where have you come from?’, say to them, ‘We have came from the light, from the place where the light came into being by itself, established［itself］, appeared in their image.’

2 If they say to you, ‘Is it you?’ say, ‘We are its children, and we are the chosen of the living father.’

3 If they ask you, ‘What is the evidence of your father in you?’, say to them, ‘It is motion and rest.’”

1 Jesus says: If they say to you: ‘Where do you come from?’ (then) say to them: ‘We have come from the light, the place where the light has come into being by itself, has established (itself] and has appeared in their image.’

2 If they say to you: ‘Is it you?’ (then) say: ‘We are his children, and we are the elect of the living Father.’

3 If they ask you: ‘What is the sign of your Father among you?’ (then) say to them: ‘It is movement and repose.’”

2 만약 그들이 너희에게 묻기를, ‘그 빛이 너희인가?’하면, 말하라, ‘우리는 빛의 아이들이다, 우리는 살아있는 아버지의 선택된 자들이다.’

3 만약 그들이 너희에게 묻기를, ‘너희 안에 있는 너희 아버지의 증거가 무엇인가?’라고 하면, 그들에게 말하라,

4 ‘그것은 운동이며, 안식이다.’”

1 예수께서 가라사대 “만약 그들이 너희에게 묻기를 ‘너희는 어디서 왔느뇨?’ 하면 그들에게 말하라: ‘우리는 빛에서 왔노라. 빛이 스스로 생겨나는 곳에서 왔노라. 빛은 스스로 존재하며, 자립하며, 그들의 상으로 자신을 드러내는 도다.’

2 만약 그들이 너희에게 묻기를 ‘그 빛이 너희뇨?’ 하면 그들에게 말하라: ‘우리는 빛의 자녀들이다. 그리고 우리는 살아있는 아버지의 선택된 자이다’

3 만약 그들이 너희에게 묻기를, ‘너희 아버지께서 너희 속에 계시다는 증표가 무엇이뇨?’ 라고 하면 그들에게 말하라:

4 ‘그것은 움직임(motion)이요 안식(rest) 이로다.’”
