제60장

1 He saw a Samaritan carrying a lamb as he was going to Judea.

2 He said to his followers, “That person is carrying the lamb round.”

3 They said to him, “Then he may kill it and eat it.”

4 He said to them, “He will not eat it while it is alive, but only after he has killed it and it has become a carcass.”

5 They said, “Otherwise he cannot do it.”

6 He said to them, “So also with you, seek for yourselves a place for rest, or you might become a carcass and be eaten.”

1 a Samaritan who was trying to steal a lamb while he was on his way to Judea.

2 He said to his disciples: “That (person) is stalking the lamb.”

3 They said to him: “So that he may kill it (and) eat it.”

4 He said to them: “As long as it is alive he will not eat it, but (only) when he has killed it (and) it has become a corpse.”

5 They said to him: “Otherwise he cannot do it.”

6 He said to them: “You, too, look for a place for your repose so that you may not become a corpse (and) get eaten.”

1 한 사마리아 인이 양을 들고 유대지방으로 가고 있었다.

2 예수께서 따르는 자들에게 말씀하시기를, “저 사람이 양을 메고 가는구나.”

3 그들이 예수께 말씀드리기를, “양을 죽여서 먹고자 하기 때문입니다.”

4 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “양이 살아 있는 동안은, 그가 먹지 않을 것이다, 그러나 양을 죽였고 그것이 시체가 되었다면 먹을 것이다.”

5 따르는 자들이 말씀드리기를, “달리 할 수는 없습니다.”

6 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하시기를, “너희들도 그러하다, 너희 스스로 안식 안에서 자리를 구하라, 그렇지 않으면 너희도 시체가 되어 먹히리라.”

1 예수께서 유대지방으로 가실 때 양을 들고 가는 사마리아 사람을 보시게 되었다.

2 그는 그의 따르는 자들에게 이르시되 “ 저 사람이 양을 메고 가는구나!”

3 그들이 예수께 가로되 “분명 저 자는 양을 죽여 먹을 것이외다.”

4 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 “ 저 자는 저 양이 살아있을 동안에는 먹을 없을 것이다. 반드시 죽여서 그것이 시체가 된 후에야 먹을 것이다.”

5 따르는 자들이 가로되 “딴 수가 없겠지요. 산채로 먹을 수는 없지 않겠습니까?”

6 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되, “그렇다면 너희 또한 그러하다. 너희 스스로 참된 안식의 자리를 구하라. 그렇지 아니 하면 너희도 시체가 되어 먹히우리라.”
